چکیده
We derive an asymptotic solution of the Einstein field equations which describes the propagation of a thin, large amplitude gravitational wave into a curved space-time. The resulting equations have the same form as the colliding plane wave equations without one of the usual constraint equations.

I present here a new algorithm to generate families of inhomogeneous mass-less scalar field cosmologies. New spacetimes, having a single isometry, are generated by breaking the homogeneity of massless scalar field G 2 models along one direction. As an illustration of the technique I construct cosmo-logical models which in their late time limit represent perturbations in the form of gravitationa...

A complex structure of nuclear disks of normal spiral galaxies is illustrated on the example of five galaxies, observed at 6m telescope. A problem of gravitational stability of nuclear disks is shortly discussed.

We present the results of a five-dimensional resonant amplitude analysis of the Λc →pK −π+ system based on 946 ± 38 reconstructed decays. These data were produced in 500 GeV/c π-N interactions by Fermilab experiment E791. We report measurements of the amplitudes for Λc decay into nonresonant pK −π+ and to pK ∗0 (890), ∆++(1232)K−, and Λ(1520)π+ and we comment on other possible resonant enhancem...

Long baseline interferometers to detect gravitational waves such as TAMA300 [1], GEO600 [2], VIRGO [3], LIGO [4] will be in operation by the end of this century or the beginning of the 21st century. One of the most important sources of gravitational waves for such detectors are coalescing binary neutron stars. PSR1913+16 is the first binary neutron stars found by Hulse and Taylor. The existence...
